Snow Bored
A downloadable game
HOW TO PLAY:
Use A and D, LEFT ARROW and RIGHT ARROW, or LEFT MOUSE and RIGHT MOUSE to flip left and right respectively. Use W or UP ARROW to speed up when on the snow, and use S or DOWN ARROW to slow down when on the snow. Flip around and try to make it to the end in the most stylish way possible!! Be careful though... hitting your head will cause you to have to try again! Good luck:)
HOW I MADE IT:
This is a little flippy game I made during the GameDevTV Unity 2D course. I used my own variables, level design, debugging, and built the entire game following the lectures. I learned a lot about splines and using the ground layer to push the player. I also learned about basic particle effects and basic sound effects. Moreover, I learned about scope in the code I wrote and calling methods in C# from different scripts. I expanded my knowledge of variables, rigid bodies, colliders and more through this project.
